DC Islamabad's refusal to allow PTI to hold a rally

Islamabad: Deputy Commissioner Islamabad refused to allow PTI to hold a rally on March 30 in the federal capital.

DC Islamabad rejected the request in view of the law and order situation and stated that PTI has already violated NOC suspicions.

The request for the meeting was given by Regional President Amir Masood Mughal, on whose request the High Court ordered the DC Islamabad to take a decision in 2 days.

Chief Justice Amir Farooq made a decision in two days and submitted the report to the Islamabad High Court.

The PTI had requested in the petition that the court should order the parties to hold a rally on March 30 at 10 pm in Islamabad.

In the petition, the position was adopted that the court should issue orders to the parties to block the roads on the day of the meeting, not to take violent action against the participants.
