Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has appointed vice-chancellors in 6 universities of the province for a period of 4 years.
According to the notification, Dr. Samreen Hussain has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Dawood Engineering University, Dr. Taha Ali as the Vice-Chancellor of Mehran Engineering University, and Dr. Asif Shaikh as the Vice-Chancellor of IBA Sukkur.
Dr. Tehmina Mugan of Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women’s University, Zahid Hussain Khand of Arur University Sukkur and Dr. Arbela Bhutto of Allah Bakhsh University Jamshoro have been appointed as Vice Chancellors for 4 years.
The approval of the Vice-Chancellors is given by the Chief Minister after completing all legal requirements using his powers.
