Superintendent Jail apologized unconditionally for not meeting Imran Khan

Islamabad: The Superintendent of Adiala Jail has apologized unconditionally to the Islamabad High Court for not meeting PTI founder Imran Khan.

A hearing was held on contempt of court petitions for not meeting the PTI founder despite court orders.

The Superintendent of Adiala Jail submitted a written response to the contempt petitions, however, the Islamabad High Court expressed dissatisfaction with the response of the Superintendent of Adiala Jail.

Justice Taman Rifat Imtiaz remarked that you have tried to justify your action of not following the court order, please satisfy the court in this regard at the next hearing.

The Islamabad High Court ordered a meeting of the petitioners Allama Nasir Abbas, Shehryar Afridi, Shandana Gulzar and Firdous Shamim Naqvi on March 26.
