Lahore: Along with Ramadan, there are also fasting days of the Christian community these days and a joint iftar meal was organized in a church in Lahore where Muslim, Christian and Hindu community members participated in the event.

According to Express News, this unique iftar table in Lahore was organized by the tolerance movement and the leader of the movement, Samson Salamat, said that today people of different religions gathered at one table to show religious, political tolerance and each other’s beliefs. A message of respect has been given.

In the Iftar ceremony, dates, pakoras, sweet drinks and food were arranged for the guests and on this occasion the participants expressed their determination to play a role for peace, security, prosperity and development and stability in Pakistan. .

Allama Ghulam Abbas Shirazi, who participated in the tolerance iftar dinner, said that religious and political tolerance must be maintained in the atmosphere of intolerance, and the voice must be raised against the injustice and evils of the society.

Pastor Immanuel Khokhar said that growing intolerance and extremism have hollowed out the society, today Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and Hindus are gathered at one place and at one table and reiterated that the security, peace of this holy land. And for stability we are all one.

On this occasion, Samson Salamat, Chairman of Tolerance Movement, said that today’s situation is very good and blessed, when people belonging to different religions and faiths have come together and organized this iftar dinner and religious, political tolerance, Giving a message of tolerance and harmony.

He said that in a society full of extremism and intolerance, the coming together of citizens of different religions and ideologies and respecting each other’s religious beliefs will be a milestone for the creation of a tolerant and peaceful Pakistan.
