Karachi: An open drain in Shah Latif Town claimed the life of another young child.
While playing outside the house in Sector 22B of Shah Latif Town, 4-year-old Mohsin Lashari, son of Muhammad Mustafa, fell into the gutter. The residents immediately pulled him out and rushed him to a nearby hospital.
The doctors at the hospital confirmed his death after examination, after which the relatives of the deceased took the body away without taking any action. There is intense anger among the relatives against the concerned authorities.
After the incident, the relatives of deceased Hasan severely criticized the concerned authorities and said that due to their criminal negligence and carelessness, our child lost his life.
On the other hand, there are open drains in the area and no effort is being taken to cover them, due to which this unfortunate incident took place.
