Karachi: The Sindh government, worried about the raw material robbers and street crimes of Karachi, decided to remove the DIGs and SSPs appointed in important positions including IG Sindh, Additional IG Karachi.

In view of the bad law and order situation in the province, new officers will be appointed in the province. After the establishment of the caretaker government, the appointment of DIGs and SSPs including IG Rafat Mukhtar Raja, Additional IG Karachi Khadim Hussain Rand was implemented in Sindh.

After the establishment of the PPP government in the province after the general elections, it was decided to change the IG Sindh and the summary of the names of Ghulam Nabi Memon, Javed Alam Odhu and Ameer Sheikh was sent to the federal government, but till now the notification of the IG Sindh has not been received. could not

A dispute has started between the federal government and the provincial government on this issue because the PPP wants Ghulam Nabi Memon to be the new IG Sindh, which has also been decided.

It has been decided to remove Additional IG Karachi Khadim Hussain Rand due to the failure to prevent theft, robbery, street crimes and the increasing number of house robberies and theft of vehicles and motorcycles.

Apart from this, consideration has been started to remove DIGs across Sindh. DIG Sukkur, DIG Larkana, DIG East Karachi are being considered for removal and it has been decided to appoint new officers in their place.

Besides, it has been decided to change some SSPs. The Sindh government has already removed DIG West Asim Qaim Khani, DIG Traffic and DIG Mirpur Khas.
