Islamabad: The US ambassador assured support for the agreement between Pakistan and the IMF.
Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb was met by US Ambassador Donald Bloom, who discussed further US cooperation and support to achieve Pakistan’s reform goals, including improving the country’s tax administration and investment climate.
US Ambassador Donald Bloom assured the US government’s support to complete Pakistan’s existing standby arrangement with the IMF.
He emphasized the determination to further expand US-Pakistan economic cooperation in areas of mutual interest between the two countries.
