Karachi: Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that providing travel facilities to citizens is a priority, 500 buses will be operated in every district of Sindh.
Senior Provincial Minister for Transport and Excise Sharjeel Inam Memon while giving a press conference said that many things were delayed in the caretaker government. The projects which were to be seen on time were not seen properly. We have started addressing the delayed projects as soon as they arrive. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has given special instructions that special attention should be paid to transport.
He said that the government is also ordering more buses. They are going to start a new bus service immediately after the month of Ramadan. 2 more routes of EV buses will be launched. Going to start bus service in Mirpur Khas. More pink buses will also be operated in Karachi while the Mirpur Khas route will start soon after April.
Sharjeel Memon further said that 1 lakh 7 thousand passengers are traveling daily with modern travel facilities. Modern Transport is starting a single card from April 18 which will be usable in all buses. Immediately after Eid, Jam Sadiq is going to do the ground breaking of Burj. 500 buses will be operated in each district of the province. After all the divisions of Sindh will go to all the districts.
He said that it is the priority of the government to provide travel facilities to provide relief to the people. People want solutions to problems.
The senior provincial minister said that continuity in the operation against drugs is mandatory. Anti-narcotics operations including Gatke and Mawe will continue. There are centers for the rehabilitation of drug addicts. The family of a drug addict goes through a lot of pain.
Sharjeel Memon said that the entire nation salutes the martyred Lieutenant Colonel Kashif. PTI has made a habit. They will run such a nonsense campaign against martyrs and institutions.
