Karachi: The price of gold increased in global and local exchange markets.
According to Express News, the price of gold per ounce rose by $1 to $1,844 in the global market.
Gold prices rose by Rs 500 and Rs 429 per tola and per 10 grams respectively in local bullion markets on Monday.
As a result of the increase in prices, the price of gold per tola increased to Rs 196,500 and the price of gold per ten gram increased to Rs 168,467 in the bullion markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta.
