Islamabad: After the death of the accused in the gang rape case in the alleged police encounter, the relatives say that the police had arranged a meeting in the police station after the arrest of both.
The relatives of the youths who were killed in the encounter with the police in F Nine Park of the federal capital have filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court.
In the petition filed in the High Court by lawyers Adil Aziz Qazi and Kashif Shah, the family members have said that the Golra police had arrested the two youths before the murder. After the arrest of both, the police arranged a meeting in the police station.
In the petition, the family members have requested that a judicial inquiry be conducted into the killing of the youth by the police while a case be registered against the police personnel involved in the incident. The relatives requested that the two youths who were killed in the police encounter should be re-postmortemed and the dead bodies of Nawab Khan and Iqbal Khan, who were killed in the police encounter, should be handed over to their heirs.
Application
Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Human Rights, IG Islamabad Police and DC Islamabad have been made parties in the petition filed in the Islamabad High Court by the relatives.
