Multan: An 8-year-old girl Maryam died after being bitten by stray dogs in Jalalpur Pirwala area of Multan district of Punjab, however, the Deputy Commissioner expressed condolences to the family while assuring a full investigation of the incident.
Deputy Commissioner of Multan Tehsil Jalalpur Pirwala reached the house of the victim’s family in Rizwan Qadeer Chak 62 M and expressed his grief over the incident and condoled with the family members and said that a thorough investigation will be conducted into the incident.
On the other hand, there is fear among the citizens because the administration of Jalalpur Pirwala has not taken measures to eliminate the stray dogs because there are a lot of stray dogs in the city and suburbs.
The family of the deceased girl Maryam said that when Maryam went to buy something from the market, stray dogs attacked her and scratched her body from different places and she died of her injuries.
