Controversial Pakistani showbiz industry actor Feroze Khan demanded an apology from Oscar-winning filmmaker Sherman Obaid Chinoy.
Sharing the legal documents on photo and video sharing platform Instagram, he informed the social media users that he has demanded Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy to apologize to him for defaming him and making baseless allegations.
Feroze Khan has claimed that Sherman Obaid Chinoy, without hearing his stand, only launched a hate campaign against him on baseless allegations and returned the award.
The actor shared a photo of the legal document on Instagram on Saturday and wrote that Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy calls herself an investigative journalist while her practice belies the claim.
According to Feroze Khan, Sherman Obaid launched a campaign against me by reacting immediately to the false allegations and never once felt the need to contact me to hear my stand.
It may be recalled that a few weeks ago at a private awards ceremony, director Sherman had announced that he would return the award he had won in the past, against nominating the actor.
