Peshawar: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur directed necessary amendments in the laws to give women a share in inheritance and to computerize the land record job.
According to the details, a meeting of the Board of Revenue was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, in which a briefing was given to Ali Amin Gandapur on administrative matters, reforms and other issues of the Board of Revenue.
The Chief Minister directed to make necessary amendments in the laws to give the right of inheritance to women and ordered that the first phase of computerization of land records in the province should be completed by June 2024.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that necessary staff should be appointed in the districts before the completion of land computerization. And work should be started on the necessary amendments in the legal framework of revenue for basic reforms.
He said that the proposed amendments should be submitted to the relevant forums for approval as soon as possible, all types of stamps should be e-mailed to ensure transparency. Stamps should be transferred and the problems of house cultivation in the province are of a serious nature, special attention should be given to solving them.
