Syed Asif Haider Shah appointed Chief Secretary Sindh

Karachi: The federal government transferred Chief Secretary Dr. Fakhar Alam and appointed grade 22 officer Syed Asif Haider Shah as the Chief Secretary of Sindh.

Syed Asif Haider Shah was appointed as Federal Secretary Climate Change and Environment Liaison. He joined Civil Service of Pakistan in 1993.

Asif Haider has served as Commissioner Hyderabad, Commissioner Karachi, Special Secretary Cabinet Division, Federal Secretary Ministry of Culture and Federal Secretary Power Division. Syed Asif Haider Shah is a Civil Engineer by profession.

Asif Shah holds an MBA degree from IBA Karachi, a Master’s degree from Harvard University, USA and fellowships from Harvard and Stanford universities.
