Instead of 209 rupees, gram price is 320 rupees per kg and pulses, rice and spices are also being sold at arbitrary prices. Banana has become rare.

The price of vegetables used in Chinese and rolls has also tripled overnight, capsicum has increased from 200 to 600 rupees per kg, the price of onion has increased by 50 rupees, cabbage and green onions have also doubled in price. But the sale started.

The vegetable and fruit sellers flouted the official price list, the official price list is not displayed on any stall across the city, white potatoes are being sold at Rs 70 per kg instead of the official price of 58, red potatoes are being sold at Rs 80 per kg instead of 63. .

Despite the ban on export, onion grade II is being sold at Rs 240 per kg instead of Rs 196, onion grade I is selling at Rs 300 per kg instead of Rs 242 and above.

Before the arrival of Ramadan, tomato, which was selling at 80 to 100 rupees per kg, is now selling at 200 rupees per kg, the official price of which is fixed at 138 rupees. Lemon first grade is being sold at Rs 500 per kg instead of Rs 345 per kg, green chillies are being sold at Rs 300 per kg instead of Rs 150 per kg.

Like last year, bananas disappeared from the markets at the height of the season, second grade bananas are selling at Rs 200 per dozen instead of the official price of Rs 150 per dozen, melons are selling at Rs 200 per kg instead of Rs 136 per kg, golachi at Rs 200 per kg instead of Rs 138 per dozen. Kilo is being sold.

The people who go to the markets for Ramadan shopping in Shahr Qaid are seeing inflation. Due to inflation, people said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has set up markets and camps for cheap food items in Punjab, in the same way, people can be relieved from inflation by setting up cheap stalls all over Sindh including Karachi.
