Peshawar: Due to the explosion near Board Bazar, 2 people were killed while one person was injured whose condition is critical.
According to the police, the injured and the bodies have been shifted to the hospital, a heavy police force has been dispatched to the scene.
Talking to the media, the SSP said that 4 to 5 kg of explosives were used in the blast, but it is too early to say who the target was, but they are investigating. The three accused were riding a motorcycle. According to the bomb disposal unit report, the explosion was not a suicide attack but occurred during the transfer of explosives.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur condemned the blast and sought a report from the IG Police.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also strongly condemned the terrorist attack and expressed his condolences to the families of those martyred in the attack. The Prime Minister directed to provide all possible medical assistance to those injured in the attack.
