The Sindh High Court gave the task of recovering the 4-year-old girl before Eid

Karachi: The Sindh High Court ordered JITs and PTF sessions on the petitions related to the recovery of other citizens including a 4-year-old girl.

In front of a two-member bench headed by Justice Nematullah Phapulhutu, a hearing was held on the applications related to the recovery of other citizens including a 4-year-old girl. Parents of missing 4-year-old Ayesha appeared in court.

Father said that my 4-year-old daughter Ayesha went missing from Mazar-e-Quaid on 14th August, it has been 6 months till now there is no trace of her and neither the police is taking any action.

The court asked the investigating officer what steps have been taken to recover the girl. The investigating officer said that several meetings of JITs have been held. A man named Umair was arrested, interrogated on February 6 but is not involved in the case.

The court gave the task of recovering the girl before Eid. The court said in a dialogue with the DSP that you are responsible for the recovery of the girl.

The family of Abdul Samad, missing from Sachal, also appeared in the court. The family said that Abdul Samad has been missing for 4 months. Sachal Police is not cooperating with us.

The court remarked that why the case has not been registered so far? The family said that 4 months ago we went to Sachal Police Station to register a case but the police did not register a case and said that you should sit comfortably at home, Abdul Samad will recover and return home in 15 days. The police officer had said that if the citizen did not recover and return, we will file a case in our complaint.

The court remarked that you should go to Sachal Police Station today after Friday prayers and register a case. If the police do not register a case, action will be taken against them. The court ordered the investigating officer to register a case.

The High Court ordered JITs and PTF sessions to publish pictures on social media to recover the girl. The court adjourned the hearing till March 28.
