Karachi: 14 fishermen who drowned in the sea are still missing

No trace of the 14 fishermen who drowned in the open sea near Karachi has been found so far.

The missing fishermen belong to Ibrahim Haidari and Lagi Goth, the families of the missing fishermen have appealed for help from Arbab Akhtar.

A search and rescue operation is underway to find the missing fishermen in the sea and at present the Sea King helicopter of the Pakistan Navy is present at the site of the boat accident.

Speedboats of Pakistan Maritime Security Agency are also involved in the search and rescue operation of fishermen. According to the spokesman, the search for the fishermen who drowned during the operation continued at night.

It should be noted that on Tuesday, March 5, 35 fishermen drowned in the open sea in a boat accident near Hijamuro Creek between Karachi and Thatta, out of which 21 fishermen were rescued.
