Pensions to judges and government officers are paid from the pockets of oppressed people, Chief Justice
Islamabad: The Supreme Court has rejected the response of the Sindh government regarding recruitment rules against government officers.
A petition against the appointment of seven grade 17 officers in the Sindh Forest Department was heard in the Supreme Court.
Chief Secretary Sindh appeared in the court through video link.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan said to the Chief Secretary of Sindh that the answer you have submitted is very disappointing, under which law has the age of fifteen years been relaxed, the judges and government officers are given pension from the pockets of the oppressed people. Sindh government has recruited 75 law officers.
The court rejected the reply of Chief Secretary Sindh and directed to submit a written reply again within 15 days.
The court, while reserving the decision, said that if any party should file a reply.
