To get the country out of the crisis, there must be dialogue, Bilawal

Islamabad: Chairman PP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that in order to get the country out of crises, there should be dialogue and not gossip. Whether there is a reconciliation or a charter of economy, we should talk.

Speaking in the National Assembly, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that there is an English saying that history repeats itself. I am the third generation representative of my family to be elected in this House. If you enter this building, you can see the name of Shaheed Zulfikar Bhutto engraved on the foundation stone. It is the mother institution. By making this democratic institution strong, we will make ourselves and the people of Pakistan strong.

He said that by weakening this institution, we will not only weaken ourselves but also democracy. Our elders who have come to this house six times should create good traditions. Such traditions that future generations remember us in good words. When the next members come, let them give us prayers, not abuse.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the people of Pakistan are looking towards us at this time. We have now reached a dangerous stage. The country is currently suffering from economic difficulties. In this election, the people voted to get this country out of the economic crisis. In his speech, the Prime Minister talked about his plans.

He said that the leader of the opposition is saying that his speech will not be shown on PTV. This tradition was laid by the founder PTI, we should not maintain it. People will be disappointed by swearing here in the name of protest. You didn’t get upvoted just to come here and rant. We have to create a code of conduct for politics. Whether there is a reconciliation or a charter of economy, we should talk.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that one party cannot take a decision due to the mandate being divided. People have voted only to avoid economic crisis. If our colleagues were not protesting yesterday, they would have listened to the Prime Minister’s speech. If the points raised by the Prime Minister are implemented, the crisis can end.

Bilawal Bhutto congratulated the leader of the opposition Umar Ayub and the chief ministers of the four provinces on their election and said that this house belongs to all of us. If you weaken the institution, you weaken the federation and the system.

Bilawal Bhutto said during his speech in the National Assembly that inflation has increased enormously in the country. In this country we took some decisions due to which the people of Pakistan are in trouble today. I hope that if we all sit together, give our input to the Prime Minister, he will be able to take better decisions. If we say that I do not believe in the Prime Minister, then we do not have the right to criticize him.

He said that we have fought the election on our manifesto. Umar Ayub may not know as much about his manifesto as I know about my manifesto. The Prime Minister spoke about Pakistan’s economic problems yesterday. There are two aspects we can discuss to improve shortfall. The Eighteenth Amendment was not implemented from 2013 to 2018 and thereafter. There are 18 ministries which should have been devolved in 2015. The deficit could have been covered by the expenditure incurred on them. Now there is an opportunity for Shahbaz Sharif to take revolutionary steps and he can terminate some ministries immediately and some at regular intervals.

He said that it is necessary that we do judicial reforms and election reforms. I would also request the opposition to support us on these two issues and if we do so, no power in the world can undermine democracy. When we were in the opposition and used to say such things, we were ridiculed. But we will not do that. Today we are talking about Form 47, we were saying this then. We want it to be full stop.

He further said that it is clear whether Shahbaz Sharif wins the election or prisoner number 804, Shahbaz Sharif will not want his mandate to be doubted. As Imran Khan did not want. I want the same things to be repeated when they reach this House for the third time. The cipher was discussed and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was mentioned. Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had said that there are secrets in my chest too.

Bilawal Bhutto said that I have been the foreign minister of this country. Umar Ayub is correct in saying that a copy is kept in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Yesterday, the Leader of the Opposition said that the bureaucracy was responsible. If Imran Khan himself had not said that this copy has been lost by me. If this copy falls into the hands of the enemy, the code on it can give the enemy access to all the old ciphers. We all know that someone deliberately published a copy of this cipher in the international media. This is also condemned.

He said that according to the law, whatever punishment is imposed on him should be done. Constitution is for all of us. If I deviate from this constitution, punish me. If it happens on the other side, it should also be punished. If we talk about every democracy, then I will say this. I am the grandson of that person who sacrificed his life but did not compromise on his principles. These people should not lecture us.

Meanwhile, members of the Sunni coalition in the House started chanting Go Zardari Go. During the speech of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the opposition protested, on which the members of the People’s Party stood in front of Bilawal and the members of the PML-N Shehbaz Sharif. During the opposition protest, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari continued his speech.
