Karachi: Bandits killed an online food delivery rider in the city of Quaid. The number of civilians killed by bandits including a young girl and two close brothers has reached 30 in two months.
The instructions of the Sindh Chief Minister to restore peace in the city and deal with the terrorism of bandits did not work. Incidents of killing unsuspecting citizens during street crime incidents in Shahr Qaid continue.
In the latest incident, robbers killed another youth near University of Karachi and snatched the support of old parents. The deceased youth was an online food delivery rider. Unknown armed suspects shot and killed an online food delivery rider on the service road in front of the staff gate PSO petrol pump of Jamia Karachi near the alleged town police station, whose body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal proceedings.
The deceased youth was identified as 22-year-old Muhammad Waqas Hanif son of Muhammad Hanif. The deceased youth was a resident of Al-Mashriq Society Gulzar Hajri and the only brother of 3 sisters. At the time the youth was killed, the victim was talking to his cousin Owais. SHO of the alleged town Muhammad Nawaz said that the deceased youth was not robbed.
According to preliminary information, the police have found the mobile phone, wallet, phone charger, hand-free and other items of the murdered youth from the scene, and the motorcycle has also been seized by the police from the scene. According to the police, the deceased youth was hit by a bullet on the chest which proved to be fatal. The SHO said that the youth was shot and killed by unknown suspects for unknown reasons.
