Islamabad: District and Sessions Courts Islamabad acquitted founder PTI, Asad Umar, Faisal Javed and others in the protest and vandalism case.
Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Shabbir issued a decision to accept the acquittal petitions. During the hearing, among the lawyers, Amina Ali, Sardar Ghazal Khan and Mohsin Ghaffar appeared in the court.
According to the verdict, separate acquittal petitions were filed by the accused under A249, the accused cannot be convicted in the case and conducting further trial is a waste of time. Acquittals are granted.
The acquittal pleas of Ali Nawaz Awan, Faisal Javed, Abid Hussain and Zaheer Khan are also accepted. Accused Asad Umar, Ali Nawaz Awan and Faisal Javed are on bail, they can withdraw their bonds.
It should be noted that a case was registered against the accused on May 26, 2022 in Tarnool police station.
