10 passengers died after a bus fell into a ditch in Haripur area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
At a place in Tarnawa Khoi Bagran area of Tehsil Khanpur of Haripur district, the passenger bus fell into a ditch while taking a bend. After the incident, volunteers of Rescue 1122 reached the spot for rescue work and shifted the injured to the hospital.
On the occasion, it was confirmed that more than ten people whose bodies have been transferred to the government hospital in Khanpur, while more than 15 other people were transferred to the hospital in an injured condition.
According to the rescue authorities, the condition of most of the injured is critical due to which the doctors have expressed the fear of increasing the death toll.
Five ambulances, one rescue vehicle took part in the rescue operation.
