Karachi: The widow of a man who drowned in an open drain during the recent rains has filed a claim against the KMC for damages of Rs.
In the court of Senior Civil Judge in Karachi City Court, the widow of the deceased filed a claim through Usman Farooq Advocate.
In the filed claim, it was stated that Syed Fakhr Alam had fallen into the drain after rain in Baldia town on February 3, my husband died due to the negligence of KMC and not draining the rain water.

The widow has taken a position that under the Fatal Accidents Act, compensation of Rs 3 crore 71 lakh should be given to the KMC.
