2 alleged robbers killed by civilian firing in Karachi

SHO Rao Rafiq had said that the accused snatched the wallet and mobile phone from another person on the corner of the street and were fleeing, when the citizen opened fire on the accused indiscriminately with his pistol. As a result, both the accused fell down with injuries while their two accomplices managed to escape from the spot on a motorcycle.

According to the SHO, a crowd of people gathered on the spot after hearing the sounds of firing and they tortured the two injured accused. They were being taken to the hospital, but before reaching the hospital, both the accused died of their injuries during the journey.

According to police officials, weapons, motorcycles and other looted items were recovered from the slain accused, SSP Korangi has ordered a transparent investigation into the incident.
