Karachi: The person injured in the firing in Malir Liaquat Market died while undergoing treatment at Jinnah Hospital.
35-year-old Nabil Ahmad Ansari, who was injured in the firing on Saturday night near Malir Liaquat Market in Saudabad police station, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Jinnah Hospital.
The victim was shot in the chest. He was a resident of Shershah who had come to Malir Saudabad to visit his relative’s house. At the time of the incident, he left his relative’s house to go back to Shershah, when he was robbed by motorcycle-borne bandits in Liaquat Market, on which Nabil resisted to save his savings, the accused opened fire.
Nabeel was hit by a bullet in the chest while the robbers fled with his loot.
