Alleged election rigging: PTI's announcement to approach the Supreme Court

Islamabad: PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat has announced to approach the Supreme Court against the alleged rigging in the elections.

Talking to the media, Sher Afzal Marwat said that I am going to file a petition in the Supreme Court against rigging the election results, in which the Chief Election Commissioner and the members will also challenge the appointment of the Election Commissioner.

Earlier, the Supreme Court had declared the elections null and void on February 21 and dismissed the petition filed for holding fresh elections and imposed a fine of five lakh rupees on the petitioner.

The Supreme Court had issued a notice to Brigadier Ali Khan through the Ministry of Defense on February 19, but the petitioner, former Brigadier Ali Khan, did not appear.
