Karachi: On February 25, a new series of westerly winds will enter Pakistan through Balochistan, under the influence of which there may be light rain on the coastal belt of Sindh including Karachi.
Chief Meteorologist Karachi Sardar Sarfraz said in a conversation with Express News that the new western chain will enter the country on February 25 through Balochistan.
Sardar Sarfaraz says that initially the effects of the mentioned system were visible on the whole of Sindh, Maghrab the effects of the mentioned system can be seen only in the coastal belt of Sindh including Karachi and in Karachi between February 26 and 27 it will be partly and completely cloudy. Light rain is also likely.
The chief meteorologist further says that new systems may enter Pakistan from the west in the month of March as well.
According to the forecast issued by the Early Warning Center, the temperature of the city is likely to drop again from February 23, during which the minimum mercury in Karachi may be recorded at 15 degrees and the maximum at 28 degrees.
According to the Early Warning Center, during this time, the weather is expected to be cold and the nights will be cold, while tomorrow is expected to be clear and sunny most of the time.
On Wednesday, the city’s official weather station recorded a minimum temperature of 20.5 degrees Celsius, while the Mari Pur Weather Station recorded 18.5 degrees Celsius.
