Karachi: A fight that started between children in Shahr Quaid turned into a bloody clash, as a result of which the UC Chairman was killed and 8 people were injured.

According to the police, there was a fight between the children of 2 tribes near the Hussaini Imambargah in Gulestan Johar Bhataiabad, in which the elders also jumped. Meanwhile, as a result of firing, newly elected Union Council Chairman of People’s Party was killed and 8 people were injured due to firing and pistol butt.

5 injured people belong to Magsi and 3 from Sanjrani tribe.

He said that the shooters belong to the Sanjrani tribe. About a year and a half ago, there was a fight between the children of the two tribes which escalated to a great extent. At 11 o’clock on Monday night, the children of the two tribes again had a fight during the game, which escalated to the adults. On the information of the dispute, the UC Chairman came to reconcile and was listening to the complaint of the people of the Magsi tribe in the area that the people of the Sanjrani tribe fired indiscriminately from the roof of the houses, as a result of which UC Chairman Sabir Ali Magsi was shot in the neck. It turned out to be fatal.

According to the spokesperson of Karachi Police, Munsif Sanjrani, Sajjad Sanjrani and Miraj Sanjrani, who were injured in the firing during the dispute, belong to the Sanjrani tribe. Since the incident, there has been severe tension in the area, but to deal with any untoward incident, a heavy contingent of the local police has surrounded the area.
