Islamabad: ANF arrested 8 suspects after recovering marijuana and CBD oil filled vape and other materials through online platform.
According to officials, ANF conducted a simultaneous crackdown in Islamabad, Lahore and Multan and arrested 8 suspects belonging to an inter-provincial drug gang involved in the distribution of vapes.
Vapes filled with hashish oil, CBD oil, THC oil, cigarette rolls made from hemp plant, hashish oil, opium and other illegal materials including hashish were seized from the possession of the accused.
Officials said the accused were involved in illegal activities under the guise of selling natural products and medicines and were using the e-commerce platform to supply drugs. The accused used to import prohibited items from foreign countries through cargo companies.
Officials added that parents should discourage the use of vape among teenagers and keep a close eye on their children’s use of online shopping platforms, reporting any suspicious activity to law enforcement agencies immediately.
ANF strives to enforce government regulations and standard operating procedures for online businesses.
