Karachi: FIA Immigration arrested 10 passengers with fake and tampered visas during the operation at Karachi Airport and transferred them to Anti-Human Trafficking Cell.
According to FIA spokesperson, the immigration staff posted at Jinnah Terminal arrested 10 passengers from abroad and transferred them to Anti-Human Trafficking Cell. Fake visas were used, holograms, watermarks and other features were not displayed on the visas on the passports while the stamps on the visas were also tampered.
According to the spokesman, the arrested accused include Asher Raza, Hasnain Ashraf, Owaisullah, Mustansar Iqbal, Amir Hamza, Zeeshan Azam, Bilal Hassan, Faizan Hassan, Arslan Afzal and Ali Hamza. The accused belong to Hafizabad and Mandi Bahauddin. According to the investigation, the accused had gone to Iran on pilgrimage visas, the accused had obtained Iraq visas from the agent for 2 lakh per person.
