Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Quetta Gladiators mentor Sir Vion Richards has said that I am a big fan of Sarfraz Ahmed, I hope this tournament will be very good for the former captain.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, Sir Vion Richards said that he is happy to come back to Pakistan for PSL, he is hopeful for a good performance of Quetta Gladiators this season as well.
He said that he is happy to meet friends and players again, he is a big fan of Sarfraz Ahmed, who has said that now is the chance to prove himself with the bat.
Mento of Quetta Gladiators added that surely Sarfaraz Ahmed was under pressure for not performing well for the team.
He said that the coming of the new captain of Quetta Gladiators will benefit Sarfraz, I hope that Sarfraz Ahmed will have a good tournament.
Sir Vion Richards said that there are individual players like Mohammad Amir, who I have always admired, who is excited to join the Gladiators.
He said that fast bowler Mohammad Amir will prove to be a class act for Quetta Gladiators, in franchise cricket, players keep moving from one team to another.
The mentor of Quetta Gladiators also said that we are happy that we have an experienced player, I don’t know if he will be as fast as Naseem Shah but Mohammad Amir has experience.
Sir Vion Richards said that Quetta Gladiators had not had success for a few years so a change could be good. Making changes doesn’t matter, for me Quetta Gladiators is a very good team.
