Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, nominated by PML-N, was provided with the security of Chief Minister Punjab.
According to Express News, four police squads, a jammer and a traffic police squad were deployed with Maryam Nawaz, two bullet-proof vehicles were also provided to her.
According to police sources, Maryam Nawaz was provided security to the Chief Minister on the orders of IG Punjab. Along with this, security personnel have also been posted at Jati Amra.
It should be noted that Maryam Nawaz has been nominated for the post of Chief Minister of Punjab by the Muslim League-N.
Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, the nominated Chief Minister of PTI, the majority party in KP, asked for security from the police to participate in the protest, but he has not been given security yet.
