Karachi: The dispute over the plot of the senior citizen could not be resolved even after 50 years, the Sindh High Court ordered an inquiry into the issue of missing documents from the civil case. Justice Salahuddin Paiwar remarked that the entire Karachi is a stronghold of criminals.
A hearing related to the plot dispute of a senior citizen was held before a two-member bench headed by Justice Salahuddin Paiwar.
Riyaz Alam advocate stated that the place where KDA is giving the alternative plot to the petitioner has no welfare facilities and is also a stronghold of criminals. Citizen Mansoor Latifi’s father bought a plot of 1000 yards in Karachi Industrial Area in 1975. The plot was occupied by the squatters.
According to the lawyer, on filing a civil case in the subordinate court, KDA ordered to give a plot in Sarjani Town, the place where the plot is being given is a stronghold of criminals, KDA should be ordered to give a plot in another place. .
Justice Salahuddin Paiwar remarked that the entire Karachi is a hotbed of criminals. There are thousands of criminals in Karachi, but there are also serial killers. Thousands of wanted accused are absconding in Karachi. They have to live in the situation, if they can’t, go somewhere else.
The court ordered an inquiry into the issue of missing documents from the civil case.
