Karachi: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing Deputy Director Mahmood Al Hasan has revealed that if the statistics of sharing of pornography on a daily basis are given, the nation’s head will bow in shame.
He expressed these views while addressing an awareness seminar titled: “Despicable Content: Misuse of Social Media” held at the Chinese Teachers Memorial Auditorium organized by the Office of the Student Affairs Adviser of University of Karachi.
Deputy Director Cyber Wing FIA Islamabad Mahmoodul Hasan said that Pakistan is one of the top countries for viewing porn sites and cases of child pornography are also reported here on a daily basis.
He said that the data shared with us on a daily basis regarding the sharing of child pornography, if I bring it to the fore, the entire nation will bow down in shame.
Mahmoud Al-Hassan said that people who visit porn websites are used to share blasphemous content, are first conditioned to view obscenity and then are made to share customized content to show more obscenity. .
He said that in Pakistan, we arrested 344 people, one of whom was a non-Muslim, while all the rest were Muslims, aged between 15 and 35 years. Last year, seven people were sentenced to death for uploading and sharing insulting content, and in the remaining 242 cases that are in the final stages, about 100 more people will be sentenced to death in one to two years.
He said that the punishment of 295C is only death and the people involved in it ruin both their world and the hereafter.
