Peshawar: Differences have emerged within Jamaat-e-Islami on the issue of joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for government formation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and forming a government together.
Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Central Vice Amir Liaquat Baloch confirmed the contacts on behalf of PTI and said that PTI has been given the green signal of unity for government formation and for the protection of independent candidates if PTI If necessary, Jamaat-e-Islami will welcome them.
On the other hand, Provincial Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Prof. Ibrahim Khan said in a statement issued from Islamic Center Peshawar that Jamaat-e-Islami has not formed any alliance with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
Professor Ibrahim Khan said that there is no moral justification for PTI to use the name of Jamaat-e-Islami.
It should be noted that PTI Information Secretary Rauf Hasan said that on the instructions of Chairman PTI, it has been decided to form a government in the province together with Jamaat-e-Islami. He said that MWM in the Center and Punjab Together with will form the government.
Reacting after Rauf Hassan’s announcement, Liaquat Baloch said that we were ready for an unconditional alliance. .
On the question about walking with MWM, he said that we are ready to sit with MWM and we have good relations with them.
