The sixth consignment includes 45 tonnes of prepared food, 30 tonnes of tents, 25 tonnes of medicines and 5 tonnes of blankets.
Karachi: The sixth shipment of 105 tons of relief goods for Gaza victims under Al-Khidmat Foundation has arrived in Egypt.
The aid was flown from Karachi Airport to Al-Arish Airport in Egypt by a special plane, which will later be flown to Gaza via Rafah.
Ahmed Rabiei, Ambassador of Palestine to Pakistan, Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, President of Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan, Vice-President Ejazullah Khan, Munzar Alam of Al-Khidmat Karachi and other officials of NDMA participated in the relief ceremony.
Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan President Dr. Hafeezur Rahman said that in the sixth shipment sent to Gaza victims with the support of Al-Khidmat Foundation, NDMA and Pakistan Air Force (Shaheen Airport Services), 45 tons of prepared food, 30 tons of tents, 25 tons of medicines. And 5 tons of blankets are included and al-Khidmat will send another 400 tons of relief goods to Gaza victims by sea this month with the cooperation of Pakistan Navy.
He said that the Pakistani government and people are with the Palestinian brothers and sisters in this hour of difficulty and will continue to support them.
