Karachi: The police declared the explosion in Gulshan Iqbal a suicide, a day before the election, three people including a woman and children were killed in the Lemon Goth blast.
According to Express News, a day before the election, there was an explosion in Gulshan Iqbal, the case of which has been registered in the CTD on the complaint of the SHO of the town. Provisions of murder, anti-terrorism and explosives act have been added to the case.
According to the police, the dead assailant and unknown facilitators were named in the case, the alleged assailant Farooq Rehman Mirani was killed, but no arrest was made. According to the sources, the investigation is ongoing as to how and from where Farooq Rehman got the hand grenade.
Plaintiff SHO claims that Farooq Rehman carried out a suicide attack on the Emma of unknown facilitators, the loss of life in the attack amounts to murder and terrorism.
If the attack turns out to be suicide, the case will be investigated by the CTD cell created for banned separatist parties.
It should be remembered that three people, including a woman and children, were killed in the Gulshan Iqbal Haji Lemon Goth blast.
