Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf contacted Jamaat-e-Islami for the inclusion of independent members.
According to the details, PTI leader Barrister Gohar contacted Jamaat-e-Islami’s head of political affairs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Bahraullah, and expressed his members’ involvement in Jamaat-e-Islami.
Jamaat-e-Islami leader Bahraullah Advocate asked for time to consult with the party leadership and said that an answer can be given only after that, but both parties have agreed to continue communication.
It should be noted that in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa independent candidates supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf are in a clear lead with 91 seats while JUI has won 7 seats and PML-N has won 5 seats.
Apart from this, if we talk about the final and official results of the National Assembly, 100 independent candidates supported by PTI have been successful there as well.
