Rawalpindi’s anti-terrorism court granted bail to Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rasheed in the May 9 case, after which he was released from Adiala jail.

Talking to the media after his release, Sheikh Rasheed said that this is my third challah. I did not participate in the election campaign. I was in jail, I don’t know what is happening in the country.

Earlier, the Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court heard the bail application against former Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed in the May 9 case. The court granted Sheikh Rasheed’s bail application and directed Sheikh Rasheed to submit a surety bond of Rs.

The court ordered that Sheikh Rasheed be released if he is not wanted in any other case. During the hearing of the case, Sheikh Rasheed’s lawyers appeared in the court, but no one appeared on behalf of the prosecution, on which the court expressed indignation.
