The plaintiff case has been registered in the presiding officer’s complaint, SHO Sir Syed and Naib Qasid have also been injured.
Karachi: Sir Syed Police has registered a case number 74 of 2024 of presiding officer Rameez Naseer for breaking into the polling station established in Saeeda Academy School in North Karachi Sector XI C1, beating and snatching ballot boxes.
The police reached the spot and arrested 3 accused persons against whom the provisions of 147, 148, 149, 186, 353, 337 A-134 and anti-terrorism section seven ATA have been added.
According to the plaintiff, 15 to 20 people with sticks and weapons entered the Saeeda Academy polling station on Thursday night around eight o’clock and started beating them, as a result of which my deputy messenger was injured while the police on duty. They started beating the officials and were trying to snatch the ticket boxes when more police personnel came to the spot, the SHO was also injured and the uniforms of the police were also torn.
