There was a big upset in National Assembly seat NA-122 from Lahore in which Pakistan Muslim League-N’s Khawaja Saad Rafique was defeated by Sardar Latif Khosa.
According to the unofficial unofficial results, PTI-backed independent candidate Sardar Latif Khosa won from the NA-122 seat. The independent candidate got one lakh 17 thousand 109 votes while Khawaja Saad Rafiq got 77 thousand 709 votes.
There is a difference of 39,400 votes between Sardar Latif Khosa and Khawaja Saad Rafiq.
Khawaja Saad Rafiq on the social networking website “X” congratulated the opposition candidate Sardar Latif Khosa on his victory and said that he willingly surrendered to the public decision.
He further wrote that may Allah Kareem give strength to the coming Parliament to overcome the national crisis by uniting.
It should be noted that the general elections were held in the country on February 8, 2024, the results of which are still ongoing.
