Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has said that I don’t know what problems the citizens are facing due to mobile phone shutdown, but it is better if it is seen from the security perspective. In his statement, he said that I congratulate the nation on the successful conduct of the general elections 2024, Election Commission of Pakistan, Interim Provincial Governments, Armed Forces, Civil Armed Forces, Police, Law Enforcement Agencies, Election Staff, I appreciate the efforts of the media and all those institutions and individuals who played a role in conducting free and fair elections.
The Prime Minister said that this is an important occasion where not only is there proof of the resilience and strength of our democratic process, but also of the indomitable spirit of the people of Pakistan, the participation and enthusiasm of the people of Pakistan has been the cornerstone of this democratic exercise. High voter turnout is a clear indication of public commitment to shaping the future of our country, the voices expressed through votes will contribute to the strength of our democracy.
Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar said that despite the few incidents of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, the efforts of the Armed Forces, Civil Armed Forces, LEA, Civilian Administration and Election Commission of Pakistan to conduct free and fair elections across the country are commendable. are, their unwavering commitment to their duties has been instrumental in the peaceful conduct of elections, the people of Pakistan have shown extraordinary courage and determination in the face of adversity.
