Karachi: Hundreds of young boys and girls cast their votes for the first time in their lives on the occasion of general elections in Shahr Quaid.

According to the details, the age of these young boys and girls were 18 years or more, the young people exercised their right to vote at different polling stations in all the districts of the city, some young boys and girls came with their parents.

Special people including elders also cast their vote

Similarly, special persons including elders also cast their vote. At several polling stations, elderly women and persons said that they cast their votes in queues at the polling stations, complaining that polling booths should be separate for the elderly.

It was also seen that a large number of special persons also exercised their right to vote at many polling stations. These special persons said that ramps or wheelchairs were not available at many polling stations for disabled persons.

He requested the Election Commission to devise a strategy to cast votes for special persons so that they can exercise their right to vote without any problem.

Senior citizens and special persons were facilitated by the security personnel to cast their votes, on which these persons offered prayers and thanked them.

There were more women than men at the polling stations

In the general elections in Karachi, it was seen that women arrived early to cast their votes at several polling stations in Central, Eastern, Korangi and East districts, while the number of men at these polling stations was negligible.

Nada, a woman who casts her vote at the polling station of a school in the fields of Lions area, said that I and my mother Ali Al-Sabah came to cast their votes. There are household chores during the day, so it is difficult to find time to vote.

Women at different polling stations said that it is a good sign that women are casting their votes at different polling stations, hoping that the elected representatives will solve the problems of women, inflation is the biggest problem at the moment. Whichever government comes should control inflation.

Women cast their votes in the morning and men in the evening

On the occasion of the general election, a greater number of men and youth cast their votes during the day than in the morning. When several polling stations of different districts were examined, it was seen that in the morning many men and youths enjoyed the public holiday to the fullest and after sleeping and having breakfast, they went to the polling stations and voted for their choice. Voted for the candidates.

Sohail, a voter present in a polling station of PIB, said that many people, including me, work in private institutions and the working hours of these jobs are long, so there is less opportunity to rest, so after sleeping well, they wake up at 11 am. And cast the vote.

Zubair, a voter present at a polling station in Kemari, said that after sleeping and having breakfast, I finished the necessary work around 12:30 in the afternoon, then I went to the polling station and cast my vote.

Other male voters said that the biggest problem at the moment is the economic situation, whichever party forms the government should provide relief to the people, reduce the prices of electricity and gas and make food and beverages cheaper.

Most of the voters expressed the opinion that they are not interested in who is forming the government, but whoever forms the government should solve the problems of the people and take the country on the path of development.
