Karachi: The Sindh High Court ordered the investigating officers to use modern technology and modern devices on the applications related to the recovery of missing persons.
A hearing was held in the High Court on the petitions related to the recovery of missing persons. The court asked the investigating officer what steps have been taken to recover the missing persons. The Investigating Officer said that 14 JITs have been conducted and efforts are being made to rescue the citizens. Letters have been written to all the agencies of the country for the recovery of the citizens.
The families of Hasan Dilawar, missing from Landhi, and Habib Khan, missing from Shah Latif, reached the court. The families requested for the recovery of the missing citizens.
The court directed to convene JITs and Provincial Task Force to recover the missing citizens. The court ordered the investigating officers to use modern technology and modern devices.
The court adjourned the hearing for 4 weeks while seeking a progress report on the recovery of Hasan Dilawar, Habib Khan and other missing citizens.
