Karachi: For the first time in the country’s history, political parties started using airplanes to conduct election campaigns.
According to Express News, pamphlets were dropped from a plane on the rally of Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Karachi on Monday during the publicity campaign.
Pakistan People’s Party candidate Saleem Mandviwala approached Skywings for election campaign.
Civil Aviation had given Skywings Aviation special permission to fly for political election campaign.
Sources say that in the election 2024, for the first time in the country, the election campaign is being conducted from the sky by airplanes, for which the candidates of the political parties have hired the services of the private aviation company Skywings.
In Karachi, Nawabshah and other cities, candidates have contacted to drop election pamphlets from the air.
