Karachi: In order to investigate the controversial results of Inter-Year 1, the fact-finding committee of Acting Chief Minister Sindh sealed the record rooms/faculties sections and IT section of Inter-Board Karachi and seized the checked copies of Inter-Year 1 and IT of board officers and employees. Access to the section is blocked.
The fact-finding committee has asked the secretary of the board for the examination rules and other related records, while the board has canceled the holiday of its employees on Monday, February 5 and summoned them for the availability of the records.
It should be remembered that caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (R) Maqbool Baqir constituted a three-member fact-finding committee on Saturday, February 3 under the leadership of Vice Chancellor of NED University Sarosh Hashmat Lodhi, on the 25th day after the controversial results of Inter-Year 1 were released. , the committee has started its work and according to the sources of Inter Board Karachi, the convener of the committee Dr. Sarosh Lodhi held the first meeting of the committee in the board on Sunday.
The concerned officers of the board were also called in the meeting, one member of the committee Secretary Sindh HEC attended the meeting online while a third member IBA Executive Director Dr. Akbar Zaidi did not attend the first meeting.
An officer of Inter Board told “Express” that during the meeting, the committee asked us about the arrangement of examination papers (paper setter), the procedure for checking the copies, the details of the board of governors and the chairman, secretary and moderator of the examinations. Regarding the responsibilities, the documents of the rules have been asked, so in this regard, all the relevant staff and officers of the board were called on Monday and a circular has also been issued in this regard.
On the other hand, sources say that all the relevant sections, including Pre-Engineering and Pre-Medical, have been sealed by the convener of the fact-finding committee, where the examined copies of Inter-Year 1 are available, along with this, the IT section has also been sealed. is so that no tampering can be done in the computerized tabulation.
According to the sources, the committee convener visited all the sections and assured himself that all the sections are sealed, it is being told that the committee will hold its next meeting soon for further action.
It should be noted that the ratio of results of inter-year 1 has been 34 to 36 percent this year, the number of students passing in A-1 and A grade is in double digits, students have rejected this result and demanded a transparent investigation into the matter. is being done.
