Various candidates have been summoned to the Election Commission for violating the code of conduct

Islamabad: The Election Commission has summoned various candidates for violation of the code of conduct and fines for violations.

According to the Election Commission spokesperson, District Monitoring Officer Kohat took action and imposed fines on violations of the code of conduct.

Noor Aslam Afridi, an independent candidate from NA-35, was fined Rs 5,000, while Fawadullah Khan Afridi, an independent candidate from the same seat, was fined Rs 10,000.

ANP candidate Yaqub Khan from constituency PK 90 was fined Rs 5,000 while independent candidate Junaidullah Afridi was fined Rs 10,000.

Monitoring teams in various districts also removed prohibited advertising hoardings and materials.
