Punjab;  6 dangerous advertisers wanted in murder cases arrested in Dubai

The accused had fled the country after the murders

Lahore: 6 dangerous advertising suspects wanted in various murder cases were arrested from Dubai.

According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, the number of dangerous advertising criminals arrested from abroad this year has increased to 12. In the recent operation, the team of Special Operation Cell under the leadership of Inspector Khalid Nawaz Wariah took the arrested 6 advertisers from Dubai and left for Pakistan.

Hammad Shahbaz, Abu Bakr, Imtiaz Ahmed, Muhammad Rizwan, Bilal Mustafa and Ali Raza are among the arrested and brought criminals. Advertiser Hammad Shahbaz had escaped abroad after killing a citizen in Gujranwala in 2022. Advertiser Muhammad Rizwan killed a citizen in Faisalabad in 2023. Advertisers Abu Bakr and Imtiaz Ahmed fled abroad after killing a citizen in Gujranwala last year.

According to the police, the ad Bilal Mustafa was wanted by the Sialkot police since 2015 in a murder case. Advertisement Ali Raza was absconding abroad for 02 years after killing a citizen in Jhelum in 2022.

To arrest the advertising criminals, the Punjab Police Special Operation Cell team issued red notices of all the advertisers from Interpol and arrested all the advertisers through constant coordination with the UAE Police. After completing the legal procedures, the team left for Pakistan, while upon reaching Pakistan, the police teams of the respective districts of the airport will take the advertisers into custody.
