Karachi: The Sindh Revenue Board collected Rs 126.8 billion in the first seven months of the current financial year 2023-24.
Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (R) Maqbool Baqir said that the Sindh Revenue Board has collected 126.8 billion rupees in the first seven months of the current fiscal year 2023-24, while the collection rate during the first seven months of the previous fiscal year 2022-23 was 94.6 billion. billion which represents a significant growth rate of 34%.
Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh said that SRB is determined to perform best in tax collection despite difficult economic conditions.

According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister House, SRB has collected Rs 18.3 billion in taxes in January 2024 as against Rs 14.3 billion in January 2023, showing a growth of over 28 percent.
The increase in revenue is the result of the trust and cooperation of SRB taxpayers, the full support of the Government of Sindh and the tireless efforts of SRB officers and staff.
